New flyer, and poster for King of Kings this Reggae night at the Shattuck Down Low on Sundays. Respect to Smokey and Dan.
About Me
- Name: Ariel Shepard
- Location: Oakland, California, United States
Born in 1972 in Pittsfield Massachusetts, Ariel Shepard moved to Oakland at age 6, after a brief stint in New Mexico, and hasn’t left. Ariel attended Oakland’s public art school as a kid, took art classes at community college and attended the Academy of Art briefly, but for the most part he is self and community taught. At 33, Ariel operates Peoples Graphics out of his North Oakland studio. Ariel is an accomplished Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Art Director, Mural, Fine Arts and Performance Painter. As well, he Teaches Art at a local High School and has been an Illustrator for the East Bay express for several years. His images are content heavy and urban based. Many of his works have strong overt political messages, all have the underpinnings. He’s working on freedom.
